We have been seeing Kay for the last 3 years since my daughter was diagnosed with colitis. Kay has been fantastic during this difficult period and has always taken the time to listen and give advice. She is an asset to the team and hope to continue seeing her in the future.

I think Kay Crook is a wonderful pediatric nurse in all areas. She is caring and can always lift your spirit if you are feeling low. Kay always listens to what her patients have to say and their experiance of their treatment at the hospital. Kay is very supportive and she is always positive, even at the worst of times.

Kay is one of the kindest people I have ever known. She is a credit to the national health service and is an absolutely fantastic nurse. Being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis during my late teenage years was very daunting but Kay made every step of the way easier for me. She has always gone that extra mile to make sure I feel reassured and has always been happy to talk to me and answer all my questions about my condition, never making me feel like my questions weren't relevant. To me, Kay is everything a nurse should be; caring, kind, understanding, helpful, compassionate and someone who genuinely cares about the welfare of her patients. I'm a lot better now than I was when I was initially diagnosed ,and that is all down to the care and support that Kay (and Dr Hyer) consistently provided for me. She is not only my nurse, but my friend, someone I can trust completely and confide in. I feel so lucky to have a nurse like Kay. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

Kay is easy to talk to and always give you time to talk, we never feel rushed. Kay is consistent with emailing or calling us back when we have queries or questions. We feel fortunate to have Kay looking after our sons medical condition.
